On Saturday November 17th 2018, I, Joseph Bennett Owner of TalentRaters and TR MAGAZINE had the pleasure of attending and reviewing the Halestorm Concert at the BB & T Center in Camden, New Jersey.
The concert lineup was as follows:
New Year’s Day: 6:45 PM
In This Moment: 8:00 PM
Halestorm: 9:00 PM
I was very impressed with New Year’s Day. New Year’s Day is an American rock band formed in Anaheim, California in 2005. Lead vocalist, Ash Costello, had a gorgeous rocker voice and I was thoroughly entertained by her and her extremely talented band members.
Band Members include:
Ash Costello, Vocals
Nikki Misery, Guitar
Jeremy Valentyne – Guitar
Formed in 2005, In this Moment, was also extremely talented. I have to be honest I’m not a fan of pentagrams and serpents wrapped around crosses, but putting that aside this band was very entertaining and dialed in. Lead vocalist, Brick has a captivating voice accompanied by haunting stage theatrics. Drummer Tom Hane was Phenomenal as was bas and guitar.
Band members include:
Lead vocals: Maria Brink
Lead guitar: Chris Haworth
Bass guitar: Travis Johnson
Guitars: Randy Wetzel
Drums: Tom Hane
When Halestorm hit the stage the audience became electric making some serious noise, me included! The last time I saw Halestorm was with my wife nearly 10 years ago in Penn’s Landing, PA. That was an outdoor concert and this was indoors of course but there is just something special about this band. There is nothing better that straight up rock n roll with killer lights and Halestorm delivered. They performed “Voultures”, “Vicious”, “I Miss the Misery” and other favorites. Lzzy was fierce, very reminiscent of the legendary female rockers Pat Benetar and Joan Jet. Of course there was that moment when the lights went out and the and when they came back the spotlight was on Arejay doing one of his most impressive drum solos. Uh Mazing! My family and I were thoroughly entertained. The only dis appointment is that when the concert concluded the encore shouts rang out but sadly Halestorm did not perform any additional songs. At any rate if you have not seen a Halestorm concert, TalentRaters highly recommends it. TalentRaters and TR MAGAZINE gives this concert 5 Stars!
Band members include:
Lead Vocals, guitar: Lzzy Hale
Drums: Arejay Hale
Guitarist, vocals: Joe Storm
Bass: Josh Storm
